Gamification 2013 to feature research and case studies on motivational design and gamified applications

Gamification 2013 is a research focused conference on motivational design and applied use of game mechanics in non-game formats. The conference will feature a blend of academic research and experimental applications with industry and non-profit examples, procedures and best practices. Hear from some of the leading authorities on gamification today, including keynote and sought after social gaming designer, Amy Jo Kim, who will also offer a pre-conference workshop on “The Player’s Journey”, and author and consultant Stephen Anderson who will also provide a post-conference workshop on “Seductive Interaction Design”.

Gamification 2013 will take place from October 2-4, 2013 in Stratford, presented by the University of Waterloo Stratford Campus.
